I've noticed many teachers throughout the country are done with school! But I still have 8 days left! Womp, womp! Do you still have days left?
On the bright side, summer is just around the corner and believe me… the kids know that summer is just around the corner too! Squirrelly jitters is the term I have adopted for these last few days of school!
To help with the squirrelly jitters this time of year, I created a team-face off game that really helps take care of this!
Each game has ELA and Mathย concepts that they've been learning all year. Since it was a review, I was confident that the students would be successful!
How to Play
To play the game, the class is divided into two teams!
The game starts with the rules being explained!
Because two teams are facing off, I wanted to make sure that students would be respectful towards each other! Plus, just because the game is called Shout It Out doesn't mean I want theย teams yelling the whole time.
I also decided to add some fun slides into the mix!
Whenever buried treasure came up the students would cheer!
Whenever a shark came up they would groan!
Of course, all this just made it more interesting because they never knew which would come up!
The kids loved playing this game!
They gotย so excited about playing the game, they didn't want to stop when it was time for lunch! The best part was listening to the students encourage each other! Because they've been together all year long, they really know how to cheer each other on.
If you still have days left of schoolย you're going to want to check out this game!ย
