Students will close read to learn all about Martin Luther King Jr. The 10 page mini book explains how Martin is celebrated for being a civil rights leader and advocated for all African Americans to be treated fairly. It includes information on Rosa Parks involvement, the bus boycotts, the March on Washington, the influence he had on the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and how our country honors him today. Please note: It It does not give information about his assassination.
