Insects 20 Passages

These insect-themed, no prep, short passages are excellent for first through third graders practicing reading skills! Your students will be able to practice with 10 fiction passages and 10 nonfiction passages. The passages are engaging and will motivate students to read. Each passage has 3-4 text-based questions and an open response, text dependent question!

In the nonfiction passages and the fictional passages the students will read about different insects: bees, butterflies, grasshoppers, ants, dragonflies, and more!

The passages are excellent for second graders but can also be used for first grade students that are ready for rigorous text.
